Comments: Nintendo DS (again), I Robot, and some stuff you'll probably never understand

Ookay...um, you were, um, right. I don't understand at all. And, reviewing the title of the post I agree that I never will understand that. You lost me at "piping data."

I kinda liked I Robot personally.

Ummm... I thought I may just point out to you Eric, the reason I say that you probably won't understand what I'm saying is so that you don't have to comment. But I guess it's still kinda reassuring to get any kind of comment...

I ROBOT DID NOT SUCK! Granted, it had basically nothing to do with Isaac Asimov's series, other than the basic concept, but it still was an interesting concept(sort of) combined with good action, moderate to good character development, and some really funny scenes (Such as the one where will smith is running through the old robot storage facility being chased by a bunch of new robots, as the old robots jump on the new ones yelling "You are in danger! You are in danger!" Now come on, you have to admit that was funny. And there was a kind of a twist at the end, so overall i'd give it a B, B+ So basically, in short, you're wrong kit... WRONG WRONG WRONG!

Ben, saying that something was funny for the wrong reason means that it blows. That scene was not meant to be funny, the fact that they failed to evoke the correct feeling shows that they failed at film making. The charater development was, in my opinion, pretty shitty. He hates robots because one saved him instead of another girl? That's like me saying: I hate you Ben for saving my life and not someone else's! The good twist was the tiny bit they based on Asimov's story. I'm not wrong, you just choose to enjoy movies for the wrong the reasons.
And just so that you know, the main reason I despise this movie so much is not because the overall plot blows and has tons of holes in it, but because they blatantly allowed the advertisers to throw in tons of throw away lines. If you watch it again Ben: notice how many times they flash the Converse logo from Will Smith's shoes at you. Think about how out hard they went out of their way to show you that Audi logo on the front of his car in every scene he drove it. Note the ovaltine and Dos Equis advertisments in front of the bar. Sure, this kind of advertising is in every movie, but the advertising in this movie was so blatant and crappy and added throw away lines that it made the movie shit.
